Have you thought about bringing a Book-A-Thon to your
school? Come learn how the Book-A-Thon, a free program
with the goal of furthering Jewish literacy, can help your
community. When your participation in the Book-A-Thon is
completed, your school or library is even able to purchase
dollar-for-dollar books from our participating publishers. For
three years, the Book-a-Thon has increased Jewish literacy
in over 200 Jewish schools with close to 7,000 books read.

Chaya Franklin is the director and founder of the
International Book-a-Thon, the annual program sponsored by
Kehot Publication Society. She has vast experience
speaking to women's groups, lecturing at Hunter College and
NYU as a guest speaker for Hillel College Youth, as well as
Hadassah, Emunah women, and for the Jewish Learning
Institute. She is a graduate of Hunter College and Teacher's
Institute for Women.
