Dear Friends, I'd like to call your attention to a new book by Sarah M Lamstein, a member of my congregation, that is being published by Boyd Mills Press on September 1.
Its title is "Letter on the Wind,a Chanukah Tale, but don't wait for Chanukah to order it or use it. It is very appropriate for the High Holidays with its themes of faith and the evils of lashon hora. It is a children's picture book illustrated by Neil Waldman but it can be used with many ages. I'd keep it on the shelf all year long and not pigeon-hole it with the holiday books.
