We are looking to purchase some more contemporary Jewish fiction for our MIddle School Library (Grades 6-8, ages 11-14). I am considering the books by Fiona Rosenbloom "You are So not Invited to my Bat Mitzvah" and "We are So Crashing your Bar Mitzvah", as well as those by Simone Elkeles, "How to Ruin a Summer Vacation" and "How to Ruin my Teenage Life." I have read the AJL reviews and others but somehow I am still vacillating. Rachel Kamin-can you resend me your review on Fiona Rosenbloom's book? Those who have read the books, can you give me your opinions? >From what I can see, the books have gotten both positive and negative reviews. Thanks!
