Holders of strong, valuable opinions: I am looking for opinions on two recent books. One is "My Parents Went Through the Holocaust and All I Got was this Lousy T-Shirt' by S. Hanala Stadner. The title is shocking, no question. I'm reading the book now and I can't decide whether it's appropriate for our congregational library or not. Stadner is very funny, and very forthcoming about her life growing up as the child of survivors, her addictions and conquering them. If I bought it, I would probably write a newsletter article about it, so that people weren't overly shocked when they saw the title in the library.
The other is Foreskin's Lament by Shalom Auslander. I've seen mixed reviews of this and was curious what others have thought. Thank you!
