Dear Safranim, Kar-Ben Publishing offers three options for Kar-Ben Children's Book Fair fundraisers for schools and libraries.
We offer a CONVENTIONAL BOOK FAIR where you order a selection (we'll help you select) of Kar-Ben books from us at a discount and then sell at full price to your students. Unsold books are returnable. Students make out checks to your library for full price and you make out a check to us at the discounted rate, keeping the profit. We also offer a CATALOGUE BOOK FAIR. This works a similar way, except you don't preorder books so there are no leftover books to return. We furnish you with catalogues. Student families select the books they want from our full color catalogue, fill out the order form and write checks made out to your library for full price of books plus shipping. We ship the books you order to your library, or directly to the students if you wish, and we bill you at a discounted rate; you keep the profit. Finally, we offer an ONLINE BOOK FAIR. We furnish you with a special code just for your library to be used on our website at www.karben.com. Students purchase books at full price directly from our website using the special code and we ship directly to them. We keep track of total purchases and the library receives 20% of the total to be taken out in Kar-Ben books you select -- with this option you receive books not funds. We can furnish promotional materials for any of these book fairs including flyers, posters, order forms, bookmarks, catalogues, and e-mail announcements.
