Hello,
My daughter's junior high choir is planning a trip to NYC June
5th - 9th (M-F), 2008. They will be attending music workshops,
performing and sightseeing. They are interested in learning some
Jewish music as well as performing at a synagogue or Jewish
organization if possible. There will probably be about 15 - 20 choir
members making the trip. Wellington Junior High is located about 90
minutes north of Denver in a semi-rural area that is predominantly
white/Christian with a fairly substantial Hispanic minority. My
daughter is the only Jewishly affiliated student at the school, out
of about 350 students. So this would be a wonderful multicultural
opportunity for the group.
Please contact me privately if you know of anyone who might be
interested in having our junior high perform during the above
mentioned time frame.
