We mourn the passing of Jacob I. Dienstag Z"L retired long-time Librarian of the Mendel Gottesman Library. The funeral will take place Tuesday January 8, Rosh Chodesh Shevat at the Sanhedria Funeral Parlor at 9:30 AM. (following arrival of ElAl flight 014 scheduled for 6:30 AM) Shiva at Hotel Montefiore, 7 Shatz, Jerusalem, until Monday morning, January 14, 7 Shevat. Inquiries: 050-755-2797 Mr. Dienstag, a well-know figure at Yeshiva during his tenure was a former president of the Association of Jewish Libraries. He was an acclaimed bibliographer and wrote and edited many works on Maimonides. May Hashem comfort the family with all those who mourn for Zion and Jerusalem.
