Dear Librarians of Temple Libraries,

Our small temple is thriving and diverse, with an active membership
(about 170+ families), located in a lovely--but in need of repair--
turn-of-the-century house.

We are renovating our existing space to include a small library
dimensions: 12 x 20
240 square feet

The Library committee would love to give the architect and building
planning committee some guidance, in terms of what is necessary for
the successful establishment of a small, well-organized,
well-equipped temple library. Shelving how many and dimensions--all
details, furniture, lighting, catalog stations (or not), book stands,
etc. Any and every detail we should consider, because if we want
input and want to be happy with our space, it is up to us to let them
know what's important. We would love your input, please!

Please be specific with your feedback. We could really use the advice
of those who have been through this process. Tell us what you like
and don't like about your temple library!

Thanks so much.

Melinda Taormina
