For legal works, under the LCC, if it is the trial of an indvidual, the
first heading will be the plaintiff if civil, and the defendant if
criminal, and it will class as a trial in the numbers for each country for
books on trials. Most books received by LC about the legal status of
holocaust denials have been accounts of trials.

For the rare book on the subject as a legal topic (the law governing
holocaust denial literature), LC would probably class it with the legal
theory considered in that country (in the United States that would
probably involve Freedom of Speech, but in some countries it would involve
Defamation or laws governing race relations). A "--Law and
legislation" heading should be proposed, for the subject, and I will do so
next time I get an appropriate book.

A search of the LC data base for "Holocaust denial" and the staff code
sg? (or key words law trials legal) will retrieve the works.
