Dear Safranim/Safraniyot, I would like to submit to the Temple's management a proposed budget for the Temple's library. The library, which was run for the last four years by volunteers, is going through a reorganizing process, which includes automation (Surpass CL), recataloging, weeding and hopefully purchasing new items. The current collection size is of about 4000 items (books, VCR's and DVD's) and I am the only librarian, working part time. Currently the library serves primarily the religious school, but also would like to reach out to the entire congregation and serve its needs as well. I would appreciate any advice I can get. I would be even more gratefull if any of you would be willing to share with me an example of budget for a library this size (off-list if you prefer). Thank you, Sarah
