For those of you protesting the upcoming IFLA conference in
Ramallah, you might be interested in the following message I received
from "Books for Israel", a grass roots organization that sends good
quality English language books to schools throughout Israel (non-sectarian):
Dear Friends,
One of our schools that will soon receive books, Kfar Silver High
School, a very large school in Ashkelon, was struck by a missle on
Saturday. Luckily, no one was hurt as the missile landed on the
grounds, near the staff houses.
Let us hope the rockets and the fighting end very soon.
