Dear Colleagues and Friends,

I am proud to let you know that the book The Call of Memory: Learning
about the Holocaust through narrative, to which I am a contributing
author, has just been published.

Many of the pedagogic essays were written by members of the Holocaust
Consortium of Educators, to which I belong. We are a group of
Holocaust educators who meet annually to perfect our practice.

Appropriate for high school, college, and university students, The
Call of Memory: Learning about the Holocaust through narrative
includes a guide for the educator and an anthology of the narratives
chosen. Each narrative story includes an analysis of the story, as
well as a classroom guide (lesson plan; graphic organizers; charts;
suggestions) for use in the classroom. In addition, each pedagogic
essay that was written was field-tested.

For more information about this resource or to order your copies,
visit the website http://callofmemory.com/

It is truly an invaluable resource for Holocaust educators,
libraries, synagogues; and resource centers.

All the best,
