Dear colleagues,

As part of the AJL Convention in Cleveland, we are arranging an
on-going Display of Best Practices to take place adjacent to the
exhibits areas. This will be an opportunity for us to share with each
other some of our most successful endeavors (lessons, projects,
displays, programs) and learn from one another in a more informal and
flexible setting. As in Cambridge, MA in 2006, the focus will be on
day schools; displays from others who work in an educational capacity
are welcomed, as space allows.

We hope that many of you will be able to contribute! Both table space
and easel space will be available. Please feel free to bring binders,
poster board, display boards, powerpoint, podcasts, websites,
portfolios, etc. to share with the rest of us. (Please note that we will
not have live internet or be able to supply any technology, but you
can certainly bring captured webpages on your own computer or display
printouts...) You can also help out by volunteering with the set up
and break down as well as by serving as a docent for a specific
timeframe.

If you are interested in contributing a display, please reserve space
with a reply including:
* Format of display (poster/table space) -- if you have dimensions,
we certainly won't complain...
* Grade level and/or audience addressed in display
* Setting (k-6/5-12/7-12/university/museum/synagogue/community
library/archive/etc.)
* Best way to get in touch with you to confirm that there is
available space for your display

New this year, we will also make available a collection of any lesson
plans and/or handouts that are provided to the Display.

Thank you in advance for your participation in making this event happen!
