We have received a couple of inquiries concerning the book: "Bondage of the Mind: How Old Testament Fundamentalism Shackles the Mind and Enslaves the Spirit" by R.D. Gold. I was also forwarded a request concerning the book from a local synagogue librarian.
I am unfamiliar with the book, and have concerns whether this book is an impartial critique or just a trashing of Orthodox Judaism. Anyone seen/reviewed this book? I'd like to have a deeper basis of knowledge concerning it, as it appears to have generated some press. Thanks!
