Colleagues: I have noticed that in MS-Word, when inserting nekudot in a Hebrew text, there are some alignment problems. For example, the nekudot under the resh do not line up under the "foot" of the resh but instead come out centered under the letter itself. Also, there is an unnecessary space between the holam and the next letter (i.e. lamed, holam, space, and then alef). Does anyone know any work-arounds for this problem in MS-Word? Is there a Hebrew word processing program (PC compatible) that does not have this problem?
