Hi Steven,
To my original e-mail to you concerning Nathan, we can add that he
has officially retired from the University of Texas at Austin and he
is now living in an apt. with somebody else who he knew from the
previous medical facility and volunteered to room with Nathan.
His new information and whereabouts:
Nathan Snyder officially retired from UT service last Thursday, October 16th.
Two weeks ago, Nathan moved into an apartment; not an assisted care
facility or part of Heartland Health Care Center, the skilled nursing
care facility where he's been the last several months. His caretaker
at Heartland has moved with him, so he will have 24/7 care. A nurse
from Hospice Austin will check on Nathan at least once a week, and
they will also be on call 24 hours a day in case Nathan's caretaker needs help.
I would like to encourage all staff who are willing to send Nathan a
card or note to do so. Visits are encouraged too, but please contact
Robert, his caretaker, first before going: ph. 983-0429.
