AJL's  New York Metropolitan Area Chapter (AJL-NYMA) is pleased to 
announce that its 2008 Fall Conference will be devoted to the topic:

"CELEBRATING JEWISH BOOKS—AND THOSE WHO LOVE THEM"

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: PHYLLIS CHESLER, noted author and psychologist

The conference will take place on Tuesday, December 2nd, 1-4 pm, at 
the Ramaz Lower School (Ricklis Hall), located at 125 East 85th 
Street, between Park and Lexington Avenues, NYC.

REGISTRATION: Please RSVP by November 25th to Leslie Monchar, 
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Payment ($10 for members of the NYMA chapter; 
$18, non-members) is at the door or can be mailed in advance no later 
than November 25th to: Leslie Monchar, 2 White Meadow Road, Rockaway, 
New Jersey 07866. To join the NYMA chapter (annual dues, $10), go to
