Greetings, All...
I just want to share with you a very positive experience we just had
with author Mark Werner (Army Fatigues: Joining Israel's Army of
International Volunteers) - and urge you to book him for a speaking
event at your libraries/synagogues.
Mark is so committed to spreading the word about this worthwhile and
necessary program that he covers his own expenses and comes well
prepared to speak enthusiastically to any audience. He was our guest
speaker yesterday and truly inspired all of us. See attachment for
more information or contact me for details.

Making A Contribution to Israel:

What Can We Do To Support This Worthwhile
Cause In A Personal Way?

Take a look at how one individual made a contribution
to the Israeli Army by stepping out of his comfort zone.

LEARN FIRST-HAND ABOUT:

•
What motivates an average American
to make a bold move in order to
contribute to Israel?
•
Real life in the Israeli army barracks and
the various types of work IDF soldiers
perform on a daily basis.
•
Living in Israel during stressful times
and how Israeli civilians cope during
tense times such as the second Intifada and almost daily
bus bombings.
•
Various accounts of other idealistic volunteers who served
with the author.
•
What does an individual gain from an extraordinary
experience such as this one?

HEAR WHAT
REVIEWERS ARE
RAVING ABOUT

Some people talk about Israel,
others write about the
Jewish State. Mark Werner
lived the experience of being
a volunteer on Israeli
military bases. His on-theground
experience changed
some of his views about the
conflict. Army Fatigues will
change your views as well.
Everyone who cares about
Israel's survival…will benefit
from reading this well-written
diary of Werner's fascinating
experience.

Alan M. Dershowitz

Professor
Harvard Law School

Mark Werner has written
a book that will fascinate
and delight those who love
Israel.

Martin Gilbert

Honorary Fellow
Merton College
Oxford University

Army Fatigues is sort of a
'City Slickers' with a Jewish
twist that will tug at the
heart of any committed
Jew.

Rabbi Joseph Telushkin

Author of Jewish Literacy and A
Code of Jewish Ethics
