I am not comfortable with that since the jacket flap says it was based on a
true story, and the last page of the book has a photo of Herman & Roma
Rosenblat and tells the tale as a true version of what happened to them.
According to holocaust scholars and other survivors, what they describe
cannot possibly have occurred. Holocaust fiction should not include
fantasy; it should be realistic and true to the events. I believe the book
should be withdrawn from library collections.
