If you give a Judaica librarian a copy of "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie"
in Hebrew, she's going to want a bookmark to go with it.
Looking at the bookmark will remind her that her books are overdue at
the library, so she's going to ask for a ride into town.
While riding into town, she'll see all the snow on the ground and she'll
want to build a snowman.
The snowman will need a nose, so she'll ask for a carrot.
You'll bring her to the grocery store to buy a carrot and she'll see all
of the food on the shelves, which will make her hungry.
So you'll bring her to a kosher restaurant.
The menu at the kosher restaurant will have so many options on so many
pages that she won't be able to keep track of them, so she'll ask for a
bookmark.
And chances are if she asks for a bookmark, she's going to want a copy
of "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" in Hebrew to go with it.
