The New York Metropolitan Area Chapter of the Association of Jewish 
Libraries (AJL-NYMA) invites you to attend its 2009 REFERENCE WORKSHOP:

THE GLOBAL LIBRARY: SERVING THE INTERNATIONAL AND LOCAL COMMUNITIES; 
and RESOURCES ON ISRAEL AND THE MIDDLE EAST AT THE UN LIBRARY
Presenter: Tzvi Muskal, Cataloging Group Team Leader, United Nations Library.

THE  PEOPLE OF THE CYRILLIC BOOK: JUDAICA PUBLISHING IN THE FORMER SOVIET UNION
Presenter: Dr. David Fishman, Professor of Jewish History and 
Director of Project Judaica, Jewish Theological Seminary.

The Workshop will take place on Thursday, February 12, 1-4:30 pm 
(registration, refreshments, networking, 1-1:30 pm) at the Library of 
the Jewish Theological Seminary, Mendelson Convocation Center 
(Library building, 1st floor), 3080 Broadway at 122nd Street. *PLEASE 
BRING PHOTO ID IN ORDER TO ENTER THE BUILDING.*

DIRECTIONS: By subway, take the  #1 train to 116th Street and 
Broadway (Columbia University stop). By bus, take the M4 or M104 to 
122nd Street and Broadway.

REGISTRATION: *PLEASE RSVP NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 9*. The cost of the 
Workshop is $10 for members of the NYMA chapter of AJL and $18 for
