This is an article from today's Baltimore Sun about Towson University "assimilating" Baltimore Hebrew University. It does impact on us since it means Towson now has a fairly large Judaica collection. While Maryland is in pretty good shape compared to other states, there are no guarantees about how funding will go for the university in general, or their new Judaica program in particular.
