Does anyone know if the "Mobile Library Mystery" series by Ian Sansom
- The Case of the Missing Books, Mr. Dixon Disappears, The Book Stops
Here, and the newest installment, The Bad Book Affair - have
significant or any Jewish content? The main character, Israel
Armstrong, is described in the descriptions as Jewish and from the
review in Booklist (11/15/09), the fourth book may have Jewish
content. Since it doesn't make sense to only purchase the fourth
book, I'm wondering if the entire series is a worthwhile addition for
a synagogue library. Our patrons are always looking for "lighter"
reads. If anyone has firsthand experience with these books, I'd
appreciate your insight.

Thanks!
