Last week the Judaica Library Network of Metropolitan Chicago (JLNMC) started a Facebook page. While it is mainly a publicity outlet for our local chapter, we decided at our last meeting that the page will be open to anyone. The page is to be used only for publicity and information. We invite you to view our page and become a group member.
Please confine all remarks to favorable public relations type remarks. Professional commentary, questions, asking for help, or kvetching do not belong here. Remember all remarks are indexed by Google and other search engines. Please share any honors or special things that you or your library has done. Share any news about presentations you have made outside of your normal librarian activities. Encourage the staff and members of your congregation, school, etc to join. Share news about displays and any activity that you or the library has done that shows us in a favorable light. If you have any doubts if the material is appropriate please ask me before posting.
