I just sent the suggestions I've received for my Jewish diversity
booklist to Hasafran, but I forgot that I wanted to ask you all one
more thing. I'm finding plenty of picture books, YA books, and adult
books, but fewer chapter books for children that feature diverse
Jews. I'm sure there are plenty, I'm just not thinking of them. The
titles I've come up with are:

The Truth About My Bat Mitzvah by Nora Raleigh Baskin

The Storyteller's Beads by Jane Kurtz

Cry of the Giraffe by Judie Oron

Stealing Home by Ellen Schwartz

Please tell me any other chapter books you can think of that have
some kind of diverse Jewry depicted. Also tell me if you think I'm
judging wrong about the titles I've listed – do any of those belong
in the YA category?

Thanks again, o collective brain!
