For those librarians interested in 20th and 21st century sacred 
music, here is a notice from Cantor Lori Corrsin of Temple Emanu-El, 
New York, NY

On Friday eve, March 11th, the Choir will be on the Bima singing 
music by Jack Gottlieb in celebration of his 80th birthday (plus the 
music of Max Helfman, Jack's mentor).

After the Oneg, we will show a film of Jack, delivering the sermon he 
has written for Emanu-El.  The filming is being done by the N.Y. 
Philharmonic and will be shown in Greenwald Hall at 6:30 PM.  Jack is 
under hospice care and cannot be present in person.

Fyi, this Tuesday Jack will be awarded an honorary doctorate by 
Doctor David Ellenson from Hebrew Union College.

The Saturday morning Service will also feature the music of Jack Gottlieb.
