On Monday on another librarian list, a query was posted about career advice for someone on becoming a librarian. Just by coincidence I was preparing my blog entry for this week and it covers some of the questions this person asked. "University Appoints New Dean for SLIS" The new dean talks about his philosophy of management and library education as well as a reserved outlook on the future of information studies.
