Hello, collective brain. I received the inquiry below from Susan Spivack and thought you might have some useful suggestions. You can reply to Hasafran or directly to Susan at [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>. Thanks, Heidi Estrin
Susan Spivack says: I live in a rural village in upstate New York--mostly white and Christian. I am trying to find good homes for a large and varied collection of books on Judaism owned by a former library director and good friend who recently passed away. The library where she served as director is interested in taking some books. Do you have a list of books that would make a good collection (with some of the books in the reference section) for a public library? If you also have any advice about what books might best be donated to a public library in an area where Jews are a very tiny proportion of the population, that would be helpful. thank you, Susan Spivack *************************** Susan Spivack 250 Quarry Street Cobleskill, NY 12043 518-234-3840 ****************************
