As many of you know, Shlemiel Crooks is a Sydney Taylor Honor Book.
Last year, the Kaufman Center commissioned a musical based on the book
and has now made the family musical an annual event at Merkin Concert
Hall in New York. The second annual performance of Shlemiel Crooks
will take place this year on Sunday, April 1:

A book signing will follow the performance and every child who attends
will receive a free Shlemiel Crooks bookplate.
