Safranim,

Do any of you know of the origin or perhaps sources that could help me find
information regarding this kind of necklace; it is a Star-of-David which
unfolds to become a non-religious symbol of zigzags? The patron asking this
question thinks the unfolding of the points of the Star enables the wearer to
disguise the fact that it is a Jewish religious symbol. (It could just be a
clever design feature.)
I have looked in Jewish and art related sources to try and find information on
this type of design to no avail. Any kind of help is greatly appreciated.

Best,

Debbie
