I have a question for you & would be grateful for your feedback: Background: I am working with an author who put together a very attractive Jewish kid's book. The illustrations are very nice and it is a good story. They published a few hundred copies to sell locally in Toronto. Now they'd like to publish it for wider distribution. They may end up selling it on their own via Amazon etc. Issue: The book is not bound with a spine but rather has the pages folded in the middle - imagine a medium size annual report or prospectus..thick paper, full color etc, just no spine. The pages are very securely held together with staples. Is this a deal breaker for librarians in your opinion?
