I would recommned Reuven Firestone's book, Children of Abraham: an introduction to Judaism for Muslims, which has been translated into Arabic and is available freely on the web at:

There is an old book by Murad Faraj, an Egyptian Karaite: al-Yahūdī : maʻná wa-ʻaqīdah (1946) but it is not available for purchase. Your user would have to borrow on interlibrary loan.
