The Library of The Jewish Theological Seminary is seeking a part-time Digital 
Project Coordinator.

This is a part-time grant supported position for 9 months to coordinate 
digitization of manuscripts by monitoring and documenting flow of materials.  
The position reports to the Administrative Librarian for Special Collection.


Specific duties and responsibilities: Responsibilities include pulling and 
replacing manuscripts before and after digitization.  Supply photographer and 
technician  with manuscripts for digitization on a daily basis to assure smooth 
workflow. Troubleshoot with Special Collections staff and technicians. Maintain 
detailed records of flow of items and digital files.

Requirements: Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to 
provide excellent service. Ability to interact effectively with Special 
Collections staff and digitization team.  Detailed organizational skills and 
ability to work well in a team environment and adhere to strict deadlines.

Educational requirements:  MS in Library Services preferred with strong 
knowledge of Jewish studies. Knowledge of Hebrew required and other languages 
preferred.  Familiarity with special collections is desirable. Two to three 
years experience required.

Salary commensurate with experience.
