The International Aguna Day is marked on Ta'anit Esther, the thirteenth of Adar. This year, the thirteenth of Adar falls on Wednesday, March 7. This day is marked in shuls throughout the Jewish world on the coming Shabbat. Following is a link to a special "Mi she-Berakh" Prayer for Agunot and Mesorvot Get (Women who are Denied a Writ of Divorce), a prayer which will be recited in many Jewish communities. This prayer was composed my myself several years ago, and has gained wide acceptance with a short time. It was recently published in the monumental "Sefer HaShabbat", edited by Yonadav Kaploun, and issued by Yediot Aharonot (p. 160).
