I got an e-mail from a professor of Jewish studies concerned that LC
was changing the BM classification numbers around. The professor did
not know about MARC tags or subject authority files.
Chances are if you are not a cataloger, the message I sent was not
for you. If you want to understand the MARC code, then ask.
