Francine,
Start with Hebrew in ten minutes a day published by Bilingual books it is very
basic.
Rosetta Stone enriches the vocabulary, but is not sufficient for grammar.
Hebrew from scratch: Ivrit min Hahathhalah By Shlomit Chayat Published by
Academon, Jerusalem Israel is useful for students that can read without vowels.
The CDs are not cheap. The latest edition has two volumes.
Best of luck,
Amalia Warshenbrot

Hi All,

I am looking for a CD series on learning Hebrew to order for our JCC library
for patrons. Do you have any suggestions? Does anyone know anything about the
Pimsleur Cd series? Rosetta Stone is pricey but I would like to know your
thoughts on that also.

Thank you,
