Barb Rosenstock, author of The Littlest Mountain (Kar-Ben, 2011) as well as two other picture books and four forthcoming books, gave a fun, dynamic, engaging and interactive presentation to our 3 & 4-year-old Preschool students and our 2nd-3rd grade Religious School students yesterday. She brought oversized props and costumes (enough for each child) and the children helped her tell the story of how God chose the mountain on which to give the Ten Commandments. She also spoke to the students about how she became an author and how books are created. It was a wonderful end-of-the-year and Shavuot celebration and I highly recommend her for school, synagogue, and public library visits. She lives in Vernon Hills, Illinois and is available for local and out-of-town events. Go to www.barbrosenstock.com <http://www.barbrosenstock.com/> for more information or contact me privately.
