I think Enid's suggestion of Jonathan Sarna's new book *When General Grant Expelled the Jews* is a terrific idea! You can pair that with the well-received children's book *The Yankee at the Seder*, by Elka Weber (2009), which is based on a true story and is geared towards grades 2 - 5.
