Hello Fellow Safranim: I just read a really interesting interview with Zalman Alpert, reference librarian at Yeshiva University that I want to share, called "The Man Behind the Reference Desk." It was in my inbox from my RSS feed I get from "Jewish Ideas Daily"-a very worthwhile (and free) service that points out various web articles of Jewish interest. I was happy to see they found this article about a librarian important enough to include. I was particularly interested in what he says about Yeshiva University and the JTS library.
