Dear Aileen: Though DVD is the "now" technology, there is no reason-especially if you cannot replace the VHS with DVD- why you should not continue to use the VHS tapes you have, especially if it is a simple "play all" situation. People are too quick to throw out their totally good VHS players. So put the VHS tape into the player and play it until it no longer plays!
