My patner who is the part time librarian at East End Temple, New York, uses
Librarything, the online book organizing site,  and really loves it.  The
Temple's techie has put a link on the library's web page.  And, one can set it
up so no one can make changes.  Charges are minimal, too.

And, my experience with the updated Mandarin Oasis has been very, very poor.
Several Hasafran members posted their disappointment as well.

Dear Synagogue Librarians,

We are creating a unified online catalog for the three small synagogue
libraries in Bend, Oregon, called the Bend Jewish Library, and are exploring
options for the software or service.  Our combined collection is about 1,500
items.  We have been testing Library World and really like it.

Those of you who have online catalogs, what products or services are you using,
and how is it working for you?  Have you tried Library World and do you like
it?

I have been off Hasafran for awhile, so I apologize if this issue has already
been discussed.

Many thanks!
