having our first program this year on October 14, 2012 at 2 pm in Barnes &

We hope you will once again join our local Association of Jewish Libraries 
chapter for interesting programs and discussions.

Ann Brener, Reference Specialist for the Hebraic Section at the Library of 
Congress, a renowned scholar, author of several books will give a talk on Judah 
Halevi, the greatest Hebrew poet since biblical times. She recently presented a 
lecture "From Spanish Court to Ottoman Palace: Sixteenth Century Hebrew Books" 
at the Library of Congress.
Ann Brener, Ph.D. in Hebrew Literature, Cornell University, was an Assistant 
Professor of Medieval Hebrew Poetry at Ben-Gurion University, Israel.
