The Gala will honour the winners of awards in various categories for their creative work on Jewish themes and their contributions to Jewish Education. These prestigious awards are handed out biennially and were established in 1968 to honour the memory of the great Canadian Yiddish poet, J.I. Segal. This year, Mr. David Botwinik will also be recognized for his vital contribution to Jewish music in his book From Holocaust to Life.
