Scholastic is donating one million books to schools and libraries severely damaged by Hurricane Sandy.
More details in the press release below, but here is the basic information about the Scholastic Hurricane Sandy Book Grant donation: * Scholastic Inc. is donating up to one million books to schools and libraries suffering significant damage in the tri-state region. * One donation per school or library * Schools and libraries will need to pick up the donation at a designated area warehouse * Apply here (www.scholastic.com/bookgrants< http://www.scholastic.com/bookgrants> [1]) We are also providing free online resources to assist families and educators in helping children to cope and understand the disaster in child-friendly terms.
