Hi Aviva, Another free resource is the online version of the original 1906 Jewish Encyclopedia at http://jewishencyclopedia.com/ Its antiquated language may be off-putting but it actually contains lots of valuable information, details and references to source materials. Some of the commonly used acronyms are not cross-referenced so the students need to search by actual name. Best, Joyce
