Dear Hasafranim,
Like many synagogues, we hold a Chinese dinner and movie night on
December 24th. This year, since it is part of our Israeli film
festival, we were trying to find an Israeli movie that would be
entertaining for all, and appropriate for kids. Last year we showed Kazablan.
While there are lots of really good Israeli films, we have had a very
hard time finding ones that were ok for the whole family (thus no
language/sex/violence issues, but not kiddie movies either). In the
end, we have decided to show Foreign Letters, although it may not
appeal to everyone.
Looking forward to next year, does anyone have any suggestions for
movies that would fit the bill?
Thank you!
Amy Graham
