I am looking to make a career in the field of public history, and I will have completed all academic credits toward my MA in History, other than my thesis defense, as of May 2013. Working in a synagogue archive will help me continue to expand my familiarity with the fields of archival management and American Jewish history. The history and culture of American Jewry are of great interest to me, and I have long felt that synagogue archives are important to preserving and learning about Jewish communal history.
