Just wanted to thank everyone for responses to my inquiry about classifying short stories under the Weine system. The information you shared was helpful. We are thinking of following the approach that classifies short stories by one author as fiction and short stories by multiple authors fiction short stories, shelving the latter adjacent to the fiction collection.
