Prof. Ezri Tarazi is founder and former chair of the Bezalel MA degree program 
in industrial design at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. Established in 1906 
by artist Boris Schatz as the “Bezalel School of Arts and Crafts”, Bezalel has 
evolved into one of the world's most prestigious art schools. Ezri, one of the 
leading designers in Israel and in the world is an experimental designer, 
educator, theorist and curator in the design field. His work was presented in 
museums including MoMA NY, Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum NY, Triennialle 
Milan and leading design museums and galleries around the world. He has worked 
as design consultant for leading companies such as Microsoft, Intel, Keter, BP, 
and was involved in startups in the fields of hi‐tech, solar energy and medical 
equipment. He consults governments in promoting design thinking as a tool for 
innovation.
