Hi Helen,

Amalia makes an excellent point - the book would be of great help for families
dealing with loss. In our local Hebrew School they explore life cycle events.
I believe it is in the 4th grade curriculum. In some cases they visit a
cemetery. Even though it is picture book, it would be an excellent resource for
this older group, as well.

Best,

There are several book on the topic. I feel that they should be used by parents
who deal with loss of their own parents. It is hard to use it for an entire
class.

I purchased the book, Zayde Comes to Live, but I haven't yet decided how/when
I'm going to use it for the synagogue Sunday School, or even which grade.
Suggestions?
